Types of stains on shirt collar and cuff
Before exploring the stain removal process, it is necessary to understand the common types of stains that can affect collars and cuffs. Below are some of the most common stains:
Sweat and oil stains:
Sweat and oil stains are discolorations on fabrics caused by sweat secretions and natural oils from the body. These stains appear particularly in areas prone to sweating, such as underarms, collars, and cuffs.
Skin and hair product stains:
Skin and hair product stains result from the remnants of cosmetics, lotions, oils, and styling products that adhere to fabrics. These stains often appear as greasy or waxy marks on clothes, especially around the neckline, cuffs, and collars.
Food and beverage stains:
Food and beverage stains result from spills and splatters of food or drinks. These stains range from simple watermarks to deeply ingrained sauce or beverage residues, often appearing on the front of shirts, collars, and sleeves.
