Read on to discover how to get rid of stains on clothes that your laundry detergent couldn't, ensuring they are ready to wear whenever you need them.
Crucial First Step
The sooner you act, the better your chances of completely removing the stain. Keep in mind that the longer a stain remains on the clothes, the harder it becomes to remove.
If the stain is wet or oily, gently blot it with a clean, white cloth or paper towel to remove the excess liquid. If there is excess greasy solid matter, scrape it off with a dull spoon or knife.
Regardless of the type of stain, resist the urge to rub it, as this can cause the stain to spread.
