How to Remove Mud Stains from Clothes — the Easy Way

Mud Stain Removal from Clothes using Vanish

Next, to remove mud stains from white clothes, use Vanish Oxi Action Crystal White Powder; for colored clothes, use Vanish Oxi Action Powder.
There are three methods for utilizing Vanish products to eliminate stains: Pre-treat, Soaking, and adding directly to the Wash.
Although pre-treatment and soaking are typically reserved for tough stains, the in-wash method is the simplest and can be combined with pre-treat or soaking.
INSTRUCTIONS
Option 1: Pre Treat
Add ¼ scoop (15g) of Vanish Oxi Action Powder in the water (MAX 40°C)
Stir for 30 seconds.
Apply the mixture directly onto the stain, rub it gently, and let it sit for 10 mins (do not allow Vanish to dry on the fabric.
Wash as usual.
Option 2: Soak
Add 1 scoop (60g) of Vanish Oxi Action Powder in 4L of water.
Stir for 30 seconds.
Soak colored clothes in the solution for 1h max, and for whites, it's 4h max.
Wash as usual.
Option 3: Wash
Add Vanish Oxi Action Powder to your machine on top of your laundry detergent. Below are the recommended stain remover dosages:
• ½ scoop (30g) for normal stains.
• 1 scoop (60g) for tough & dried stains.
Mud Stain Removal from Carpet using Vanish
Before you do anything about the mud stain, you must wait and let it dry. Yes, you heard us right. When the mud hardens, it is much easier to deal with.
After the mud stain has dried, scrape off as much hardened dirt as possible. Pick up any large chunk and vacuum over the area to collect as many dirt particles as possible. Next, follow the instructions below:
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix 1 part Vanish 3 in 1 Carpet & Upholstery Shampoo with 9 parts cool water (max temperature 40˚).
Whisk the solution into a foam.
Apply the foam on the stained area evenly using a clean colorfast brush or sponge.
Do not make the carpet overly wet.
Allow the solution to dry, and simply vacuum away.
Mud Stain Removal from Shoes using Vanish
Before trying to remove mud stains from shoes, assess the shoe material. For rubber, leather, and traditional non-fabric shoes, such as football boots or wellingtons, simply hose the mud off with water.
For fabric footwear, wait for the mud to dry by putting them somewhere warm and dry, such as outdoors in direct sunlight. Next, follow the instructions below:

Hit your shoes together or against hard surfaces to remove dried mud.
Remove the shoelaces and inserts so the mud trapped underneath those places can be removed.
Scrub your shoes with a soft toothbrush. Use water and a few drops of dish detergent and go to town on the exterior and the inside of your shoes. Get into every little crevice where mud might be lurking.
Apply Vanish Pre-Treat Oxi Action Stain Remover Spray on your shoes and scrub it with a soft toothbrush. Make sure to target every little crevice where mud might be present.
Use a dry microfiber cloth or paper towel to wipe off the dirty water as you clean.
If your shoes are still dry, wash them separately in the washing machine and add ½ scoop (30g) of Vanish Oxi Action Powder on top of your laundry detergent.
Dry your shoes with newspaper or paper towels, or let them air dry, but don’t leave them outside overnight.
