Step 1:

Mix 60ml of Vanish Oxi Action gel in 4L of warm water (max 40°).

Step 2:

Soak item for 1hr (max) for colours or up to 6hrs (max) for whites.

Step 3:

Place pod with 60ml dose into your washing machine and wash as usual with your detergent.

Makeup on white clothes

If you don't have a Vanish stain removal product to hand then don't worry. We're still able to provide some handy hints on removing stains. Vanish will help you remove the stains even once they have dried-in.

Often, a makeup stain may leave a faint oily mark if removed without a detergent product; make sure to check for this before drying the stained item otherwise this mark will become very difficult to remove.

Remove non-oily makeup stains like eye shadow and blusher by lightly brushing the powder off the clothing. Be careful not to spread the stain further.
Use clean water to rinse and then blot as much fluid out of the stained area as possible with a clean cloth or napkin. When at home, put the item into a wash with 60ml of Vanish Oxi Action Gel.

Makeup causes stains so frequently because they contains a variety of pigments e.g. bright pink or bronze from facial makeup. Usually, it is oily makeup that causes the most severe and unpleasant stains.
